After breakfast, meet your group members for the orientation briefing held in the hotel. Commence the visit to the world famous Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the morning. In afternoon, tour to the Summer Palace, the largest Ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer retreat for Emperors and the chosen few. The highlight today is a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Path. The Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is one of the Eight Wonders of the world. It is a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nation. Later you will visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs, 13 of the 16 Ming emperors have their tombs here. This is an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery of the area as for the tombs themselves. After Breakfast, take a morning flight to Nanjing- the capital city of Jiangsu Province. It served as the capital of six dynasties in China’s history and is littered with cultural relics, museums and nice scenery. Visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum after arrived Nanjing. And go to Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. It was completed in 1968 and was the first double-decker, double-track highway and railway bridge designed and constructed by the Chinese without outside engineering assistance. Tour to Qinhuai River after dinner. The Qinhuai River is the biggest river in Nanjing. It's also the birthplace of the age-old Nanjing culture. As such, it's called "Nanjing's mother river". Take coach to Wuxi after breakfast. Wuxi is also one of the oldest cities in China with a history of more than 3000 years. Visit the “Three Kingdom City” where the “Three Kingdom” movie took place, following by the the Wuxi Xihui Park; Then visit the Freshwater Pearls Farm. Enjoy the Wuxi Special Dinner. After breakfast at hotel, take coach to Suzhou. Suzhou has been praised as the “Paradise on the Earth” since ancient times and is an extraordinarily delicate and elegant city. Known as “Venice of the East”, Suzhou is built around Grand Canal. The city’s many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the “Garden City”. Drive to Wuzhen, a quiet Water Town with 1300 years history, small bridges here and there. Then go to Hangzhou. Hangzhou is a city with rich history and culture. Marco Polo described this place as “the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world”. Take the boat cruise on the magnificent West Lake, the symbol of the city and crammed full of interesting sights. Visit the Yue Fei grave. Take coach head to Shanghai. Upon arrival, we will take a look at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai.Then stroll the Nanjing Road and the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, a sweeping area along the Huangpu River, where used to be foreign concessions and now is the symbol of modern Shanghai. Here is the best place to capture the western influence of the old days. Visit the Qipu Market and Old City God's Temple for your shopping in Shanghai.
